Around the world, Christians are losing out because of their choice to follow Jesus. Some may lose home, family, possessions, freedom or their sense of security and well-being. But despite the risks, many keep choosing to follow Jesus no matter what. Soy (name changed) is just 17, yet she already knows what it’s like to have her freedom taken because of her faith.

GOD WILL NEVER LEAVE US: FARAH’S STORY

As a teenager, it can be hard to be a Christian. There’s all kinds of pressures facing us, and holding onto God can be really tough. For Farah, from the Middle East, her faith in Jesus is shared by her family, but being a Christian has had some severe consequences for them. Her home was raided by the authorities, her things were searched, her dad arrested. She’s been spied on, followed and had to leave her home country all because she and her family have chosen to believe in Jesus.

SCARS: MANGA’S STORY

Manga’s life changed forever after Boko Haram extremists killed his dad and left he and his brothers with life changing injuries. But instead of letting the actions of those who gave him his scars define him, Manga instead is now proud of them, seeing them as a sign of how God saved his life! Amazing. HOW rebecca secretly helps underground north korean Christians

Through Open Doors’ secret networks in China, she helps North Korean women who’ve escaped North Korea in search of a better life – but have ended up being trafficked. Despite the grave risks, Rebecca has seen God do amazing things in the ladies’ lives – helped by your prayers and support.
